ABOUT AMY

I'm a multi-passionate creator surrounded by great friends, family, nature & animals. I love to travel for inspiration. I love to meet people. I love art of all kinds, and the simple textures of everyday things. I've been a maker all my life; drawing as early as I can remember and learning to sew at age 7. I'm hugely influenced by my grandmother and my Mom; two dynamic women who shared their love of arts & crafts and always encouraged me to follow my heart.

David and I have been collaborating and supporting each others creative lives since we met in art school. Over the years we developed a breadth of products for clients worldwide. Keeping on this path, putting one foot in front of the other, one experience and opportunity has led to the next, ultimately allowing me to create a business that incorporates my biggest passions not only in the handmade arts but also my passions for inspiring others as an artistic, personal development leader. I co-create with my artist friends and soul sister, life coach Hildie Dunn from the Handel Group. Offering experiences that that support people’s creative & spiritual development is wildly fulfilling and fuels my desire to keep growing with others and offer workshops and cultural travel immersions that open folks up to their creative happiness. My full circle experience includes following my love for Reiki (and becoming certified as a Reiki Master). My healing journey has been expansive and I want to share that positive energy with other people and animals. This path has also guided me to horses, learning horsemanship and beginning to work with them in a healing capacity. It’s been beautiful to experience the evolution of watching my passions morph into a path of service and how each one influences and supports the other. This is the heart and soul of why I create and why I’m inspired to be a healing and inspirational support for others on their path.

My intention for everyone is that we all live our best life. This vision and inspiration comes together in the pages of Blossom, our free online, digital magazine that empowers with love and helps people connect to the creative perfection of being who they are. I work side by side with David, who lovingly creates the layouts and design. Blossom has grown into a conscientious forum that explores creativity, beauty, and empowerment. We’re so happy it’s become a wonderful catalyst for good!

No one does anything alone. Our studio is buoyed by Susan Robson, our “care specialist” and studio manager. She keeps the business running smoothly while David and I focus on creating. She is a true gift and we dearly appreciate her. It is an honor to collaborate with David in every way, his creative vision and ability to capture the spirit of the inspiration I want to share is other-worldy. His talents run as deep as his heart and are reflected here on these pages, and all we create with the magazine. I treasure him and am grateful for his unconditional love and support. The teamwork and artistic energy we create extends into the way we run our business and work to affect positive changes in our community and beyond. We want to improve the lives of those whom we touch. "Giving back " is key and a great privilege. It's a way of life that elevates the spirit and encourages those around you to take responsibility for and ownership of society as a whole. A better world is constantly maintained, not finally achieved. We endeavor to give back both locally in supporting our area women’s shelter, food bank & animal shelters, and nationally to in the moment organizations who are making a positive impact in the world. Donating our time and resources to the communities we connect with on our global adventures has expanded our vision for what’s possible. We invite those that travel with us to do the same.

One of my core beliefs is that through who we are and what we do, we can inspire great change in ourselves, each other, and in the world. I believe that we can inspire those around us to become happier & more confident through finding their own creativity. This is the heart and soul of Blossom Magazine and why we create it. This is also the wonderful thing about making art! Finding creative fire, love, passion, excitement... taking note and loving and appreciating every moment. I feel fortunate to be on my path nurturing my creative spark, and I love supporting other like-minded folks who are finding theirs! It's a beautiful process, we're all in it together... growing, learning and becoming.
