Hand Block Printed Toiletry Organizer

These lovely patterns on these bags are created using wooden blocks that take months to hand carve. Using basic tools and manual drawings. Once the blocks are carved they are dipped into natural dyes and the color patterns are transferred onto organic cotton. Each design involves up to 4 blocks and dyes which have to be carefully aligned to create a beautiful and colorful final product. 

This ancient form of printing has been India since the 12th century but has  become almost forgotten due to significant advances in modern day screen printing.

These bags have been hand-crafted with care by one of the oldest block printing families in Jaipur, India.  The bag lining is constructed with a durable, soft plastic with elastic pockets to keep all of your supplies nice and neat!
